The entire Gallura is rich in vegetation due to its good rainfall and the lowest population density. Flora clearly changes according to the level from the sea and so the territory of Arzachena is particularly rich in Mediterranean maquis composed of rock, myrtle, tree, wild olive, arbutus, heather and juniper that are flanked to the maritime pine forming the pine forests that frame the coastline.
